Our House 3 Years Later

The recent house projects we've been working on have made me realize just how far we've come over the last 3 years.  Don't get me wrong, our to-do list is still a mile long, but looking back at where we started makes me realize we've done a lot.

I've been trying to find the CD of house pictures we got when we bought the house, but I've searched and searched and I just can't find it.  So the before pics are the best that I could find out of my pictures.

Since we've been here, we've painted the front door, added all the stone work around the trees and the flower beds and updated the front fixtures to be bronze.  We also added shutters to the window to the right of the front door.  When we moved in it was a curtain and I felt like at night, people could see right in our house. 

Our house was a huge blank slate when we moved in.  It was all white (with the exception of the purple game room) and all the original gold fixtures were still in place.  One of the first major projects we tackled was to paint the whole house.

This is the best backyard before pic I could find.  We added the tree as well as all the flower beds.

It doesn't look like I have a before picture of our master bedroom, Emily's bathroom, or of the upstairs guest room.  The upstairs guest room looks exactly the same as when we moved in, only full of junk now.  And we really haven't done much with our bedroom.  So we'll leave these rooms of out of this tour.
