Emily's soccer team went to Denver for a tournament the first weekend after school started. We flew out Friday morning and went ziplining with a few of the girls that day. They had 2 games on Saturday and because they advanced to the finals, also had 2 games on Sunday. They ended up winning the gold division. It was a long weekend and we didn't get back until super late on Sunday, but it was a fun way for the girls to kick off the new season.
Emily is officially a high schooler. She had her first day of freshman year. They have 4 classes each day, with an A and B day.
Evan started 7th grade. He is doing football this year and had practice bright and early on the first day of school. So no pics of the kids together.
We have been talking about moving Evan downstairs to the guest bedroom for quite some time. I thought this would be a great way for each kid to have their own bathroom. I think he's very happy with how his new room turned out.
