Let's look back at all the things we were up to in 2022. . .
January:
Shawn and the kids celebrated New Year's Day over at Papa Mike's.
Emily had a soccer tournament in the bitter cold.
February:
Evan played lots of hockey. They finished the regular season in second place, however, lost a tough game in the first round of playoffs.
Shawn and Evan went to the Allen American game.
Emily went with Aubrey to the Texas Tech vs. TCU basketball game.
March:
It was spring break and Shawn and KK took the kids to Glen Rose.
Emily tried out for 7th grade cheer and made the team.
April:
We celebrated Easter.
We hosted our annual crawfish boil.
May:
Emily finished up 6th grade and Evan finished up 4th grade.
Emily's soccer team won the Carey Invitational.
We went to Turks and Caicos for a week with the Gists.
June:
Evan turned 10 and he and Shawn went to South Texas for a fishing trip.
Both kids headed to Pine Cove for a week.
July:
We went to Cedar Creek lake for several days with Shawn's family.
Emily got braces.
Emily had a week of cheer camp and also a week of soccer fitness camp.
August:
Evan started 5th grade and Emily started 7th grade.
Emily cheered at Viking Camp.
Emily tried out for the volleyball team at school and made the A team.
She also cheered at her first football game.
September:
Emily was busy with volleyball games.
Shawn and Evan went hunting over Labor Day weekend.
Evan had his very last Isbell Fun Run.
Evan went to Sky Ranch for 3 days for 5th grade camp.
October:
Emily turned 13 and celebrated with several of her friends.
Shawn and Evan went to the Stars game at sat in his company suite.
Volleyball ended and cross country started for Emily.
The kids went trick or treating with friends.
November:
Emily's soccer team went to Tulsa, OK for a tournament.
December:
We went to see the Gift of Christmas show.
Emily had her soccer team party.
