July Little Things

It's been another busy month for us, however, I don't have too many pictures to prove it.  We spent a lot of time this month just hanging out and swimming with friends and family to escape the heat.

The kids have been enjoying their summer at home with the nannies, but I think we're all ready for them to get back to school and into a routine again.

We went to top golf one Sunday and then out to lunch with some of our friends in the neighborhood.  I don't have any pictures of it, but I did want to mention Evan went to his first sleepover this month.  He stayed at Ethan's house that's pictured below.

Just pics of Evan doing random things. . . watering the plants,  building/creating pulleys. . .

I took the kids back to school shopping one Friday and while we were shopping, we found a shirt for Em to wear hunting with her Daddy.

Emily had lots of sleepovers this month.  She ended the month with having her friend, Aubrey, over.  These 2 don't see each other very often these days, but when they do, it's like no time has passed.  They play so well together and like all of the same things!

Can't believe there are only 2.5 more weeks of summer before school starts!

Happy 4th of July!

We kicked off our celebrations the day before the 4th with a trip to the Roughrider's game with our friends, the VanDeusen's.  We had 2 sets of 4 tickets, so we started with the girls all sitting together in 1 section and the boys in another.  Half way through the game we switched kids.  The game started at 7:00 and it was super hot out until the sun finally went down around 8:30.  We stuck it out until the very end of the game though, around 10:30, and then went on the field afterwards to watch fireworks.

After our late night on Tuesday, we all slept in on Wednesday morning.  Early afternoon we headed to Scott and Stephanie's house to swim.  We called it a night pretty early since a few of us had to work today.
