Even though it felt like January lasted 500 days, we didn't have too many things going on besides our trip to Florida. Here are a couple of little things we did though:
Shawn bought a new truck. We started realizing that in less than 2 years, Emily will be turning 16 and will need a car. With both Shawn and my car on the older side with lots of miles, we decided it's better to split up the purchasing of 3 cars. Shawn's had the most miles and was in need of some repairs, so he was the winner of the new car.
Emily and Shawn went to a Stars game. We are really enjoying the season tickets. It has worked out perfectly sharing them with friends. This was Em's first game to go to and she loved it.
Emily had a soccer tournament the weekend after we got back from Orlando. Unfortunately, we got a cold front come in and the girls only got to play on Saturday, as Sunday games were cancelled due to the temps. They won both games though and ended the day in first place.
