It was a busy year! Here are all the things we did in 2024:
January -
We kicked off the new year with a trip to Orlando with the Gists. We went to Universal Studios and Hollywood Studios.
Shawn got a new truck.
February -
We were in full soccer and hockey mode.
March -
We went on a road trip to San Antonio for Spring Break.
Shawn and I went with Em to Austin for a couple of her league games.
April -
School soccer kicked off and they made it all the way to the district tournament.
Em got her braces off.
May -
We said celebrated Papa Mike's life with a viewing and funeral.
School ended and we went on a cruise with the Gists.
June -
Evan turned 12 and he and Shawn went fishing in South Texas to celebrate.
Shawn and I went to Palm Beach, FL for his work trip.
Em went to Pine Cove for a week.
July -
We went to Boston & Cape Cod.
Emily signed with the Renegades for her 6th year.
August -
We moved Evan downstairs and redid his room.
Em started high school and Evan started 7th grade.
Em and I went to CO with her soccer team for a tournament.
We redid the front landscaping.
Em went to Wakeland's homecoming dance.
September -
Shawn and Evan went on a hunting trip.
Emily tore her ACL and meniscus.
Emily went to Liberty's homecoming game and dance.
Evan started playing football.
October -
Shawn and Evan went to OKC for a hockey tournament.
Emily had her ACL reconstruction surgery.
Emily turned 15 and got her learner's permit.
November -
We celebrated Thanksgiving at Mimi's.
December -
We celebrated Christmas.
Evan's hockey team played in a 3v3 tournament and won.
