We had a jam packed September, although I'm really lacking on pictures for just how busy we were. Most weekends were spent consumed with soccer and t-ball games on Saturdays and faith formation and girl scouts on Sundays.
The kids celebrated National College Colors day Friday, September 1st. That was the day that Em and Shawn were supposed to leave to go hunting for the weekend. But with the hurricane, we were on a pretty serious gas shortage here in Dallas, so they opted not to go.
I had planned to take Evan to Build - A - Bear while Shawn and Em were gone, so even though they didn't go, I still took him for a Mommy/Son Date night.
Shawn had bought Em her first BB gun for them to take hunting. Since they didn't get to go, he set up some targets for her to shoot at in the backyard.
Shawn went to the Cowboy's / Giants game with my Dad and brother.
The kids had a theme week at school and I wasn't so good with taking pics, but here is hat day and dress like what you want to be when you grow up (fireman and teacher). Evan missed 2 days of school this week because he had a terrible cough and was having some breathing issues.
KK and Grandpa Joe came to one of Evan's T-Ball games and then we all went out to lunch afterwards.
We went to the Gist's house one night for dinner.
Shawn went to Vegas for a work conference while I held down the fort with the kids.
The day after Shawn got back from Vegas he met Evan for lunch up at school.
We have another busy month coming up in October with Halloween, more sports, fall activities and a certain someone's 8th birthday.
