Croup

I'm a bit behind on posting, but unfortunately won't be able to catch up for a while.  Our computer stopped working and had to be sent off for some warranty work.  It's not expected to be back for 2-3 weeks.  We are able to use our old computer, however, my photo software isn't on this computer, so until we get our other computer back, I'll be posting very little.

Today, Shawn took Em in to see Dr. G. for her ears re-check.  I'm happy to report both ears have cleared up.  I'm sad to report that even though her ears look good, she does have croup.  :(  It's always something.  We had no idea she would have croup though.  She has been very hoarse the last couple of days and has sounded like she's wheezing a bit at night time.  This morning, when I brought her to school my gut told me we would be getting a phone call and we did.  Only a couple hours after I dropped her off, school called to tell us she was running a fever.  I'm glad we already had the dr. appt. scheduled for this afternoon.  Hopefully she'll be as good as new in a couple of days and will be ready to get back to school.  Until then, Shawn and I are taking turns staying home with her.
