You are seven today! For some reason, 7 just seems so much older to me than 6. However, you told me you feel no different now that you've turned 7.
This has been a great year for you. You kept busy playing both baseball and soccer. It's been so fun watching you grow and progress in baseball. You are much more confident in the game than even just a year ago. You play catcher and look so cute in all your catcher gear. I know. . that's something that only a mom would say. :) Soccer was never your favorite, so you've decided to take a break from it. Instead, you are going to stick with baseball and also try out flag football. I think your Daddy is really hoping you will like flag football.
You had a great year in school. You just had the best teacher ever and I think that made you enjoy going to school. You still excel in math. Reading has been more difficult for you, but you've made great strides.
You are in love with all things snakes. You read about them and watch all kinds of videos on them too. You ask all the time for a real snake and I always tell you no. Maybe when you get your own home. You tell me that you want to be a snake tamer when you grow up. Your newest addiction is minecraft. You want to play it 24/7 and as a result, we've really had to start limiting your playing time. Legos are still pretty high on your list of favorites as well. You've taken over our dining room table with all of your lego creations.
You are still my non-stop talker. You have so much that you want to tell us on a daily basis. You go non-stop from the moment you wake up until you finally crash at night. You still love to snuggle and it melts my heart when you ask me to snuggle on the couch with you.
We love you so much, sweet boy. You bring so much joy and laughter into our lives. I wish I had just a small amount of your energy! I hope you had the best birthday ever and that you know just how much you mean to us.
