It was a jam packed month. Both sports and school wrapped up which means we had lots going on!
We got excited as we rolled over into May and realized there was only 1 more month of school left!
Evan's class published a book. Each 1st grader in his class wrote about an assigned animal and drew a picture. This was Evan's page.
We practiced baseball in the backyard. Evan wasn't always excited about playing catch, but he'd always come around.
We celebrated Mother's Day at brunch with Kevin and Julie and the kids gave me all their home made cards. I couldn't have asked for better gifts!
Shawn went to Houston one weekend to visit William. They drove to Galveston for a night and went deep sea fishing.
Emily was in the talent show at school. The girls performed a jump rope routine. We had a few night time practices, but for the most part they practiced during recess and alphabest. They did an awesome job!
We went and watched a movie during one of their days off from school. Yep, in the last month of school they had 3 days off!
We counted down to the last day of school!
We snuggled on the couch.
And finally, the kids each got a new bike. Their old ones had gotten way too small.
