We had another busy Saturday! I took Em to dance in the morning and then I took her to my niece's birthday party in the afternoon. Evan and Shawn ran errands while we were gone.
I did have to snap this pic of Evan. Notice he won't put his head on the pillow. He lays all different ways in this swing. This is what Emily started doing right before we had to put the swing away. :(
That night we met our friends, the Terry's, at the Frisco Square for dinner and to walk around and enjoy the Christmas lights. Both girls had tons of fun running around. Evan enjoyed himself as well. He took a catnap during dinner and then loved looking at the lights.
The best family pic we could get - with neither kid looking :)
Throwing pennies into the fountain.
Trying to catch the "snowflakes" that were falling down.
Sunday
We didn't have any plans on Sunday and it was nice to be able to just hang out at home.
I've been working with Evan on sitting up. He can do it for just a couple of seconds without support.
Em helped Shawn put the Christmas lights outside. She didn't stay out too long though because she didn't want to get muddy. :)
Evan and I played inside while they were putting the lights up. Evan loves his exersaucer!
Later after Em's nap, me and her built a gingerbread house. I'm pretty sure Em had more fun eating the candy, than decorating. But I think it turned out pretty well.
