6 Month Well Visit

This morning Shawn and I took Evan in for his 6 month well visit.  He was scheduled to get 3 vaccines today (1 oral one), but we added the flu shot at the last minute, so poor guy ended up with 4 (3 needles).  He was tough though and only cried while the needles were in him. 

Dr. G was a little concerned with Evan's weight gain (or lack thereof). However, once we explained that he's been sick for the majority of the last month he said hopefully now that we're adding solid foods, he'll quickly start gaining.  Let's hope so!  Mommy doesn't like seeing such low %'s on my little guy.   Here are his stats:

 

Weight: 14 lbs, 14 oz (9%)

Height: 26 in (35%)

Head: 17 in (34%)



My hopes that I would have a tall son seems to be dashed.  He went from being in the 70% to the 35% in 2 months.  :(  Oh well, looks like both my kiddos might be little.  Other than that, all looks good with Evan!  Here's to hoping we don't make any more dr. visits until his 9 month checkup.
