We got a tree for Emily's room this year. Em went with me to Hobby Lobby and helped me pick out all the decorations for it. This might be the last year Em gets a tree in her room. Shawn and I have had to get on to her because she wakes up with ornaments in her bed every morning. Let's just say she has re-arranged everything on this tree to the point where there are practically no ornaments on the front of it.
This was Evan's first time seeing our Christmas Tree. He loved grabbing on to it.
Couldn't pass up putting this one in. He looks so big "standing" up. Oh and ignore his wet shirt. The amount of drool this little guy has is insane!
This is the first year Emily has really been able to help us decorate the tree. She loved doing it. Can you tell the area she decorated ? :)
We had to convince her to move some of her ornaments up higher.
The final product. I went simple this year. . no ribbon, mesh, etc. I just wanted good old fashion ornaments on the tree this year.

Shawn and I have started getting ornaments on all our vacations. I love remembering all the places we've been.
Shawn got me a turtle dove ornament on our very first Christmas together. He always makes sure his turtle dove and mine are placed together on the tree. :)
He even dated them on the back!
More of Emily's ornaments. I'm sure Evan will have plenty on the tree soon too.
You can't help but love Emily's home made ornaments that she makes at school each year.
Emily loved the tree so much, she decided to have a picnic in front of it later on.
