Me: "Go into the bathroom, please and wash your hands.
Evan: "But the bathroom light isn't on."
Me: "You don't need it on. You can see well enough without it to wash your hands."
Evan: "But I want it on."
Me: "Fine, I will turn it on."
Now as I'm walking toward the bathroom to do the very thing he asked me to do. . .
Evan: "Mommy, can you give me some privacy."
Me: "I can't give you privacy and turn the light on for you."
Evan: "But I want some."
