Christmas in Burleson

Last Saturday, we headed to Burleson to kick off our Christmas festivities.  All of Shawn's step siblings and their children were there so it made it extra fun.  We hadn't seen some of them in a while. The kids loved playing with their cousins and of course they enjoyed getting to open some presents.  I think it made them that much more excited about Christmas Day.

The drive down.  Poor guy didn't have sunglasses in the car, so he had to settle for a pair of Em's old ones.

KK kept sneaking Evan spoonfuls of ice cream.

Evan came up to me early in the night and said, Mommy, I found a present that says E V A N on it.  That's for me.  And it's a big one!

It was his very own concrete mixer.

Em loved having some girl cousins to play with!

Just a fun fact that shows Emmy is a shorty. . .Sienna (the one right behind Emily) is just 2 months older than her!  She looks several years older than Em!  Ava who is right next to Em is a year younger than Em.  :)
