Christmas Eve

We started off Christmas Eve this year by Emily and I going to church with my family.  Shawn and Evan stayed home because it was right during nap time and because he is still at the age where he won't sit still.   After mass, we all headed over to my cousin, Cathy's house.  Shawn and Evan met us over there.  We had a nice time visiting with everyone and after a couple of hours a surprise visitor showed up. . Santa.  All the kids were really surprised and so excited!  They all received a present from him and then sat and listened to him read "Twas the Night Before Christmas."  Evan especially loved Santa and couldn't get enough of him.  He even convinced Santa to sing Jingle Bells with him.  Before long, it was time to head back home and put out our reindeer food and milk and cookies for Santa.  Just like in years past, both kids are so worn out from the day, that they fall asleep so quickly.
