One Year Ago. . .

One year ago tonight, I went into labor.  I know I've said this so many times in the past, but I still can't believe it's already been a year!!!!!  I had just laid down in bed to watch some TV and the next thing I knew my water broke and Emily was on her way.  It was was one of the most exciting, yet nerve wracking times of my life.  We had no idea what lay ahead of us as we headed to the hospital.  We anxiously waited all night and through the next morning to welcome Emily in this world.  It was the best day of my life!  I got to meet my baby girl for the first time and I couldn't wait to see what the next year would bring.  Looking back, I was so clueless as to what the first year would be like.  It's been way harder than I ever expected, but at the same time, way more rewarding than I could have ever expected.  They say having a baby changes your life.  It's so true.  While, the big things in our life have stayed the same, our day to day life is completely different!  But it's different in the best possible way! 

Here I was one year ago.  We were just about to leave the house to head to the hospital.
