Not a Great Start

So we didn't start out Emily's birthday week as well as I hoped.  Emily's has had a cold for the last 5 or 6 days and ran a fever on Saturday.  She was fever-free on Sunday and we almost sent her to daycare this morning, but my gut just told me to stay home with her and make a dr. appt.  I think it was really just for my own peace of mind to make sure nothing was wrong.  Well, I'm glad I decided to take her.  My poor girl has another double ear infection and in one her ears, a ruptured ear drum.  :(  Luckily, we got lots of medicine and hopefully, she'll be as good as new by her birthday and her party this weekend!  And thankfully too, for the most part, she's still been her happy self (hence why I never really know when she has ear infections).
