2021 Year In Review

Here's a look back at all the things we were up to in 2021!

January:

January is always a slower month for us.  Shawn and I were still working from home the majority of the time.

Shawn's Granny passed away and we celebrated her life with family and dinner at her house afterwards.

We got our first taste of snow.  It wasn't much, but exciting nonetheless.

February:

Em had a soccer team outing to make bath bombs.  It was 1 of their last outings before their team split up.

We went and watched TX Tech play baseball at the new Ranger's stadium.

We had a full week of snow and ice and below freezing temps.  The kids missed a full week of school.

March:

We spent Spring Break in Orlando. 

We had our annual crawfish boil.

Emily went to 5th grade camp.  It wasn't sky ranch, but a day camp nearby.

April:

We celebrated Easter.

Emily had lots of soccer.

May:

Emily had 5th grade graduation from Isbell.

We closed in our home office.

Soccer wrapped up and they ended up winning D2 of GCL.

Emily finished up 5th grade and Evan finished up 3rd grade.

We went to our friend's farmhouse one Saturday.

June:

Evan turned 9 and we celebrated by taking him and Charlotte to Great Wolf Lodge.

Emily went to overnight camp at Pine Cove for a week.

Emily had a soccer party wrapping up the season.

July:

We spent a week in Breckenridge, CO.

Emily signed with a new soccer team.

We spent a few days in Wimberly, TX with Shawn's family.

August:

The kids started school. ..6th grade and 4th grade.

I turned 40 and Shawn planned a dinner out with friends.

Emily had her first soccer tournament with her new team.

September:

Shawn and Evan went hunting over Labor Day weekend.  Emily had a soccer tournament.

Evan had his fun run at school.

Evan started the fall season of hockey.

October:

Emily turned 12 and celebrated with her friends by going to a haunted house.

The kids went trick or treating.

November:

Shawn went on a guys fishing trip to the gulf.

Emily and I went to Tulsa for a soccer tournament.

We went to Broken Bow with my family the weekend after Thanksgiving.

December:

Shawn and Em went back to Tulsa / OKC for a soccer weekend.

We celebrated Christmas.

We spent 5 days in San Diego after Christmas.
