Hollywood, FL Trip - Day 4 and 5: Miami Duck Tour and Heading Home

Thursday was our last full day of vacation.  We had tickets in the morning to go on the Duck Tour in Miami, so we made the 30 min. or so drive down there.  Our tour was at 10:00, but it was HOT!  I have never been to Miami, so it was neat to see it.  We saw where a lot of the celebrity houses were and also drove down Ocean drive so we could see all the restaurants that looked out onto South Beach.  I can only imagine how crazy that street gets at night.

After the tour, we walked a few blocks over to eat lunch.  We were all dripping in sweat by now and couldn't wait to just sit and cool off!

Once we finished lunch, we hit up a souvenir shop, so the kids could each pick something out and then headed back to our hotel.  We couldn't wait to put on our suits and go cool off in the pool.  Since the sand at the beach had gotten so hot the afternoon before, we stuck to the pool this afternoon.  We hung out for quite a while going back and forth between the pool and splash pad.  Then headed back up to the room for some rest before going back to the outdoor patio restaurant at our hotel.

Friday morning we were up bright and early to head to the airport.  It was a fun trip and the kids are already asking when we can go back.
