Conversations With Evan

Back on New Year's Day, I walked into Evan's room to clean it up and noticed pretty quickly that there was fish food all over his dresser.  I quickly looked up and realized that Evan must have poured the entire container of fish food in his fish bowl.

Me: "EVAN!!  Did you feed your fish?"

Evan: "Yes, Mommy, he was hungry!"

Me: "Bud, you poured the whole container in there."

Evan: "He was really hungry.  I love animals."

It's worth mentioning that Evan's fish is on the middle shelf of his hutch, which means he climbed up and was standing on top of his dresser.  Thank goodness we latched his dresser to the wall just a couple of months ago! 

And you will all be thankful to know that I must have noticed the food fairly quickly because his fish somehow survived!  The food is no longer kept in his room.
