We ended up having quite a busy little Saturday. This morning we met up with our friends, the Terry's, at Rudy's for breakfast tacos. After breakfast we went over to Frisco Commons Park (which is really neat by the way) and checked out the splash park. This was the first time we've taken Evan to one and he loved it! He had a blast running around. Of course, Em and Aubrey had a blast too.
After the splash park we headed home for naps. Thankfully our fun morning wore the kids out and they both took good naps. When they woke up we played around the house for a little while and then headed out to get both kids a haircut. Both kids needed them quite badly.
This was Evan's first haircut ever and I wasn't sure how he would do. Luckily he did awesome! He sat in the red car and didn't fuss at all! Shawn did hold on to him, but that's it. I couldn't believe how great he did. I won't lie as he was getting his haircut part of me was really sad. By the time they were done, he looked so big! Where had my baby gone?
Em got her third haircut ever and she acted like a pro. She got much more cut off this time than in the past. I was a little worried her curls would be gone, but thankfully they weren't. I love her new cut and so does she.
Once we conquered the haircuts, we decided to finish the night off with dinner at Durkin's Pizza. It's a neighborhood place that we really like. Both kids did great and enjoyed getting to eat out dinner 2 nights in a row.
We headed back home and it was time for just a little bit of playtime before baths and bed.
