This past Saturday afternoon we headed over to our friend's, The Gists, house for dinner and a little swimming beforehand. They have a neat kiddie pool area at their neighborhood pool, where the babies could walk around. Evan loved it! And surprisingly Em loved the shallow area more than the big pool. We brought lots of toys for the kiddos and that kept them all entertained until the babies lack of afternoon naps started to take their toll.
We headed back to their house for dinner and the babies got their second wind. Evan and Em loved playing upstairs in Grace's gameroom. Grace had toys my kids had never seen before. It was super cute watching Evan and Grace interact. You can tell they clearly recognize each other from school. They had no trouble fighting for toys, something I'm sure they are used to doing at school. . haha.
We had a great time visiting and can't wait to have them over to our house soon for another playdate!
