1 Year Well Visit

Evan had his 1 year well visit this morning.  All looked good! However, Evan totally remembered the dr's office and started crying as soon as we got in the room. He cried the whole time he got weighed and measured.  Luckily though, he was great when Dr. G came in. 

We were a little concerned because he seems to have ezcema that only appeared after we started him on table food.  However, Dr. G said since it's only on his feet vs. his whole body, it doesn't seem to follow the pattern of food allergies, so let's hope it's just the heat causing it and we can keep it under control.  I really don't want to have 2 kids with food allergies!  Dr. G was very happy with where he was developmentally and told us to work on weining him off bottles and formula by his 15 month appt. I'm hoping the transition won't be too hard! 

Evan did get 3 shots today, but took them like a champ.  He only cried during them, but quickly recovered once they were done.  I'm hoping we don't make any trips back until his 15 month appt.  Here are Evan's stats for 1 year:

 

Weight - 20 lbs, 12 oz (21%)

Height - 29.3 in (36%)

Head - 18.3 in (54%)

I was very excited to see that Evan has made it to the 21% for weight.  His last 2 visits showed %'s that were too low for my liking.  All his eating has finally done some good.  :)
