Daddy's Attempt At A Ponytail

And let's stress attempt!!  I had off on Friday, so Shawn was nice enough to let me sleep in and he got Em up and ready and brought her to school.  Yes, even though I had off, we still took her to school.  Don't judge.  It keeps her in the routine and she loves school, plus it gives me some Mommy free time to get stuff done around the house and get some errands run.

I had picked her outfit out the night before, so all he had to do was do her hair.  I'm growing her bangs out, so I usually pull it half back everyday so her bangs stay out of her face.  Shawn got a little more brave and decided to attempt a ponytail.  I try to get him to watch me when I do her hair, but he usually has no interest.  So when I woke up and called him and he told me to look at the camera, I wasn't sure what to expect.  He said he wrapped the rubberband around 3 times and on the 3rd wrap it got all tangled up in her hair, so he just left it like that.  Nice!  While, I do give him an A for effort, the result definitely didn't get an A.  He also mentioned she took out the rubberband in the car, so he dropped her off with hair looking like a disaster.  Thank goodness her teachers like to do Em's hair.  :)  I can only imagine what they were thinking when he dropped her off.
