Each year, my whole family (parents, brother, cousins, and Aunt) all go to church together in the afternoon followed by dinner. Usually my cousin, Cathy, has everyone back to her house for a huge Christmas Eve party. They would have a ton of friends and family over and it grew each year. Well, last year she decide instead to make it just a family affair and instead of going back to her house, we would all go out to eat. She made reservations at the same restaurant as last year, Jasper's. After missing last year, I was very excited we could make it this year. Jasper's is one of my favorite restaurants.
Mass started at 3:30 and then we went straight over to Jasper's from there. We arrived just as mass was starting because Em didn't wake up happy from her nap. Every word out of her mouth was "no" and she just made getting ready very difficult. Luckily though, my family saved us seats and we were able to just sneak in. Em thankfully did awesome during both church and dinner.
We arrived home from dinner around 8:30 and before going to bed, Em and Shawn sprinkled reindeer food out on the front lawn. After making our cookies for Santa that morning, we totally forgot to put them out for Santa. Oops. Luckily, I think Santa still found his way to the cookie jar. :)
