Each day, daycare sends home a sheet telling us all about Emily's day. It usually tells us when she was changed, when she napped, what she ate, etc. At the bottom is a section to describe her mood. Yesterday, her sheet had the boxes checked for happy and friendly. Then in the "other" category, they had written in "sassy." I had to laugh when I saw this. How many other 9 month olds do you know that are sassy? Only my daughter. She's got quite the personality on her. :)
On another note, Emily is doing great on the older side of the infant room. Just recently, we told them they can start serving her the breakfast and lunch that the daycare serves each day. And then just give her baby food if she's still hungry. Well, let's just say, she's not eating much baby food at school anymore. She much prefers to eat the table food. So far she's had cheerios, waffles, bacon, lasagna, bread, chicken, broccoli, and fruit cocktail. For a baby with no teeth (yes, still no teeth), she's doing well with the table food. We're not quite as brave at home, so she still mainly gets baby food on our watch.
