Oldest Baby

Today when I dropped Emily off at daycare, they told me that she's now the oldest baby on her side of the infant room.  I couldn't believe it!  This made me so sad because it means Emily will be the next one to move to the next room.  Unlike the infant room that's split into a younger and older side, this will be an entirely new room with new teachers.  They said the timing depends on when new babies start.  I'm hoping it's at least not until she's walking.  That will make me so nervous to have her in a room full of toddlers that are already walking.  I'll be scared she'll be stepped on.  It also made me realize my baby is growing up.  Her moving from the infant room means that she'll now be considered a "young toddler."  I'm not ready for that!!!  I just want to freeze time and have her stay my baby! 

They also told me that it might be a good idea to start putting shoes on her from now on.  She has to wear shoes once she starts walking so they told us it's good for her to start getting used to them now.  I'm just excited I now have an excuse to buy her shoes.  :)
