We finally got a full day of sun on Thursday! We woke up early, got a quick breakfast in town and then walked to the gondola and headed up to the base of the mountain for all the activities. It was crowded and the lines were long, but the kids had a blast. Their favorite was the alpine coaster, followed by the alpine slide. Shawn and I spent the day having some drinks while the kids ran from line to line. In hindsight, I really wished that Shawn and I bought tickets for slides as well. They looked so fun! I hadn't planned to spend the whole day up there, but because the lines were so long that's just what we did. After about 6 hours of fun, we headed back down the gondola and went to the condo to relax for a little.
Evan decided he was way too wiped out to go to dinner, so instead Shawn went out and grabbed some pizza and salad and brought it back for dinner. Em and I thought tonight would be the best night to go wait in the line for crepes at Crepes A La Carte. We had seen the line all week and it was always long. But Em and I figured they must be good if all those people keeping waiting, so we took our chances. It ended up taking about an hour to order and then another 30 minutes to actually get them. We each ordered a dessert crepe and got 1 to bring back for Evan too. And well, the verdict was that, they were good, but not sure they were hour and half of waiting, good. Ha. But at least now we knew!
