July Little Things

We had another busy month!  And it's the last full month of summer!  So crazy. Aside from a couple of big things the month (ie. Evan's tonsillectomy and our trip to NYC), we still had lots of little things going on this month too.

We kicked off the month celebrating the 4th of July.  We went over to Kevin and Julie's house to swim and have dinner and then went to watch the Frisco fireworks.  And this is the only picture I have to show for it.

Both kids went to a half-day camp at Color me Mine.  They made wind chimes.  I thought they turned out so cute.  Both kids really enjoyed this camp.

Emily went to a week long volleyball camp with her friend, Aubrey.  She had been dying to try out volleyball, so this was the perfect opportunity.

I was trying to keep Emily busy during the 2 weeks that Evan was on  no activity restrictions due to having his tonsils out.  One day, Emily went to a half-day rock climbing camp with her cousin, Natalie.  They had a blast and this was one of Em's favorite camps of the summer.

We had a parents night out on a Thursday night!  We went with Kevin, Julie and a couple of their friends to see the Old 97's play at Legacy Hall.  It was a fun night.

I caught the boys catching up on some sleep one night.

I took the kids to see The Lion King at the movies one Sunday afternoon.

Julie invited us to go to a tour of a whiskey distillery one Saturday afternoon for Kevin's birthday.  We hit up a local brewery beforehand and went to dinner at Prohibition Chicken afterwards. It was a fun afternoon!

And lastly . .I took a pic of this girl one night.  She sleeps with ALL her stuffed animals in her bed.  It cracks me up.  I'm just glad she has made room for her to sleep.
