Easter in Burleson

Saturday afternoon we headed to Burleson to celebrate Easter with Shawn's family.  The kids always look forward to going over there as they know to expect an egg hunt and lots of confetti eggs and silly string.  The weather was beautiful, so it was a perfect day to sit outside and catch up with everyone.  The kids of course had a blast with their cousins.  I don't think they sat down the entire time we were there. They were completely worn out by the time we left.

She was not into it at all and just kept giving me a funny smile.

The kid that won't pick up his messes at our house, willingly helped sweep up the mess outside.  Apparently he only likes to clean up other people's messes.

He entertained himself for quite a while.

Again, Em was not interested in family pictures.  Only after we looked at them, did we realize all of them had Em sticking her tongue out.

So you know I made everyone come back and try again.  :)

We gave the kids baths before heading home and I tried hard to get a cute picture of them in their matching jammies.  But again, Em had no interest.  :(
