Both Shawn's and my family have a ton of October birthdays! In fact, there are 8 birthdays between both families and 6 of them fall between the 25th and 30th. Since there are so many birthdays so close together, it's hard for everyone to be able to celebrate together. Em's party was on Saturday, the 27th which happens to be Shawn's Granny's birthday. In fact, it was her 85th birthday. Shawn's parents threw her a party that night. Unfortunately, since Em's party went until early evening, only Shawn was able to make it. We knew there would be no way both Em and Evan would be able to make the drive to Burleson and be happy. I was sad I wasn't able to join in the festivities, but it sounds like they all had lots of fun! And just because I know she reads my blog. ..Happy 85th Birthday! :) Hope it was a great one!
