Kaboom Town

Last night we ventured out to Kaboom Town in Addison for fireworks.  Our friends, Tommy and Jenny, were nice enough to invite us out onto the hangers at Addison airport for front row seats.  This was the first time we've taken Em to see fireworks and of course, it was Evan's first 4th of July, so I was excited to celebrate!  Besides having to sit in AWFUL traffic, we had so much fun!!  Em had a blast playing with Aubrey!  They really are two peas in a pod!  They have so much fun together.

Shawn was in charge of manning the camera while I took care of Evan.  I thought I was bad about taking a ton of pics.   He may or may not have taken over 300 pics.  :)  So I apologize for the picture overload.  I couldn't choose.

Em looks so big to me in this picture!

Before the fireworks, they had an air show.  It was really neat!  I think Shawn was in heaven.  He loves planes!

Me and my little man.  He was so good.  He barely made a peep the entire time we were there!

Aubrey and Emily.  It was monkey see, monkey do with them!

Jenny's Dad took the girls to see some of the airplanes.  Her parents were both so sweet to Em!

Evan trying on the headphones.  They were just a tad bit big.

Our family of 4! I love the sound of that!

Evan watching fireworks from the back of our car.

Aubrey and Em watching fireworks.  The conversations between these 2 cracked me up!

I'm so glad that we decided to be brave and venture out for the 4th of July.  We didn't make it home until nearly midnight, but it was so worth it!  We had hoped to follow our annual tradition and make it to the Plano parade this morning, but after such a long night we decided to lay low instead.
