A Day In The Life (Our Saturday)

I haven't done a day in the life post in a while, so I thought it would be a good time for one.  I love looking back and seeing what we do on a typical day.  I figured I'd start on Friday night, so I could remember exactly when I was up with Evan.

11:00 pm (Friday night) -  feed Evan and head to bed.

 3:00 am (Saturday) - feed Evan and put him back to sleep

5:00 am - Em wakes up and decides she's up for the day.  Lucky us!  Her and Shawn watch tv in the gameroom.

6:00 am - feed Evan.  He decides he's up for the day, but I keep him in bed with me until we head downstairs around 7:30.

6:45 am - Shawn and Em head out to run errands - drop the dry cleaning off and go grocery shopping.  They come across some hot air balloons while they are out.

They are back home around 8:00 and we eat breakfast and start getting ready for the day.  Shawn and Em have already accomplished a ton and it's only 8:00!

We have a resident bunny in our backyard.  Shawn and Em bought some carrots to feed him.

Before we headed out, I needed a pic of Em and I in our striped dresses.

9:30 am - we venture out to the Frisco Farmer's Market.  It's not a huge farmers market, but it gets us out of the house.  We pick up some fresh peaches, okra and sourdough bread.  Yum.

11:30 am - We head back home and have lunch before putting Em down for a much needed nap.  Luckily Evan is worn out too and so all 4 of us take about a 3 hour nap!  I think we all needed it!!

3:30 pm - We're all up from our naps and we just hang out around the house.  It's raining outside, so we just lay low.

6:30 pm - Our friends, Court and Grant, are very generous and bring fajitas from La Hacienda Ranch over for dinner.  Yum!  Em's in a funk and decides she doesn't want to eat dinner.  We all just hang out a bit and visit.  While they are over, Evan rolls from his tummy to his back!  I'm pretty sure it was a fluke, but I was excited nonetheless and wanted to record it here.

10:30 pm - Court and Grant leave and we all head to bed.  Shawn has overnight Evan duty tonight.  My first night of passing him off since he's been born.  :)
