2nd Birthday Celebration

Emily had a fun day celebrating her 2nd birthday.  She went to school, like normal, but I did bring cupcakes for her class so they could have a little party for her birthday.  I picked her up early from school and brought her up to my office for trick or treating. 

We ordered pizza for dinner, one of her favorites and celebrated with cake too.  She also got her present from me and Shawn - a table and chairs.  She loved them!  Each chair is a different color and she tried each of them out.  We put her table in the kitchen so she can eat and play at her table.  She ate her pizza with her friends (cookie monster and baby.)

I kept her upstairs while Shawn brought out her table.  She was so excited once she saw it!

Em knew exactly what to do with the candles.  She started blowing them out before we even finished singing to her.



Overall, I think Em had a pretty good day.  The only thing that could have made it better would have been the Rangers winning the world series.  Oh well, maybe next year.  Later today, we'll be celebrating her birthday with all her friends, so stay tuned for that post.
