Icon of the Seas Cruise - Part 5

Friday was our last full day on the boat.  We stopped at Royal Caribbean's private island, Coco Cay.  We got off the boat shortly after we docked and found some chairs on the beach.  We spent the whole day there.  The island was big, but it was just so hot, we didn't go explore.

That night we decided to book the specialty steakhouse restaurant for dinner for us adults and the kids ate in the windjammer.  It was definitely a nice change from the main dining room, but I thought it was a bit overpriced for what it was.

We were off the boat early on Saturday morning.  We booked a night at the Diplomat in Hollywood, FL so we could ease ourselves off of vacation.  We arrived at the hotel early and headed out to the beach.  We made it until just after lunch before all 4 of us were back in the room.  It was just so hot and after having been in the heat for a whole week, we all needed a break and some rest.  We headed home Sunday morning.

Overall, I enjoyed the cruise.   It was different from Disney though.  I thought the service, food and rooms on Disney blew Royal Caribbean away.  However, the kids loved all the activities that the Royal Caribbean boat had.
