We kicked off the new year with a trip to the Florida Keys. We stayed at the Bakers Cay Resort in Key Largo. We flew out bright and early on New Year's Day. We flew into Fort Lauderdale and then drove to Key Largo.
This was our first time going some place warm over Christmas break and I didn't hate it! We had great weather the entire trip. It even felt HOT some days.
We checked in to our hotel and walked down to the beach area. Evan couldn't wait to swim, so he swam, while the rest of us found some shade at the beach hut bar.
We went to dinner at Skipper's Dockside before calling it an early night. We were all tired from a day of traveling.
