2021 Spring Break - Orlando, FL - Day 2

Wednesday morning we were up bright and early to hit up Magic Kingdom Park.  I was excited to go since I wasn't sure if the kids would remember it from last trip or not.  Even though our hotel was located on Disney property, we didn't have access to all the Disney transportation.  And for that reason alone, I think staying at a Disney resort hotel is always the better route.  We drove to the park and ended up splurging for the VIP parking once we saw how big the lot was.  Then we had to take a monorail over to the park.  It was a bit of a beating and ate up more time than I had planned on it taking.  But once we were in the park, all was good.  We did have to wear masks the entire time in the park.  It was a little bit of a bummer, but we dealt with it.  Overall, we had a great time!  The park did seem really crowded, however, I think that was due to all the lines being pushed outside and spaced out.  With the exception of a few rides (splash mountain, Peter Pan and 7 dwarfs mine train), most rides didn't have very long lines.  We were able to ride every ride we wanted, with the exception of 1 - astro orbiter.  That ride's line just never moved!

I also made reservations for lunch at Skipper Canteen and dinner at Crystal Palace and I think that was a great decision.  Quick Service places were very limited, so I think having a reservation for meals was key. It was nice to have a break from walking and sit down for a bit.  I didn't love Skipper Canteen's food, but I thought Crystal Palace was yummy.
