December Little Things

We kicked off December with our elf, Buddy, bringing his North Pole Breakfast.

Emily and her friend, Grace, had a workout schedule they needed to complete over the Thanksgiving break for soccer.

Evan received the character trait award this month at school.  It was for curiosity.

Emily had 2 choir concerts this month.  The first one was with the middle school and high school choirs.  And the second was at Merry Main Street.

Emily's friend, Haleigh, invited her over to decorate gingerbread houses.  They went all out!

KK took the kids to their annual breakfast with Santa.

This year, the kids school had a Penguin Patch where the kids could go Christmas shopping for people.  The kids were so excited and couldn't wait to shop.

We went on a double date with some of our neighbors to the Frisco Gun Club.  It was the first time I ever shot a gun. . and probably the last time too.

We also laid low some nights and enjoyed looking at all the Christmas decor in the house.

Oh and the kids were excited when they got a Christmas card with a stick of gum and  $10 in it for each of them!

Shawn and the kids planted potatoes one afternoon.

I always turn off Evan's lamp before I go to bed.  He looked so peaceful this night, I couldn't help, but take a picture.

We went to brunch with our neighbors, the Garrisons, and Kevin, Julie and the girls.

The kids were off for over 2 weeks during Christmas break.  Here's some pictures from 1 of those days.  Lunch at Raising Cane's followed by riding hoverboards at the park.

Whew, that was a busy month!
