Disney Cruise Vacation Day 3: Nassau, Bahamas

We woke up Tuesday morning just in time to watch us dock in Nassau, Bahamas.  There were 4 other cruise ships already in port!  We ordered room service and ate breakfast while enjoying the view from our balcony.  We had booked a beach day excursion to the Blue Lagoon for the day.  We took a chilly boat ride over to the Blue Lagoon and found some beach chairs to setup shop in for the day.  The lagoon area was super shallow which was perfect for the 4 kids to play around in.  Evan spent the entire day searching for sea shells.  The clouds rolled in early afternoon and made it pretty chilly.  Knowing the boat schedule, we decided to eat a quick BBQ lunch on the island and then head back to our ship.  Evan was exhausted and caught a quick power nap on the boat ride back.

Upon arriving back at our ship, we headed up to the pool deck.  We took our kids for a spin on the Aqua Duck, the slide on the top of our boat.  It was super fun, but gosh that water was a bit cold when it splashed you!

We headed back to our room for showers before going to the show that night.  It was called Believe and again, we all loved it.  I was definitely impressed with all the shows we saw on the cruise.  Between the show and dinner, we saw a few more characters and the kids had a dance party in the atrium.  Dinner that night was in the Royal Palace.  By this night, we found out the secret to the kids club.  During the late dinner seating, the kids club crew would show up outside of each restaurant around 9:15 to take any kid that wanted to go, up to the kids club.  So this night we had the kids eat quick and then brought them to the front for them to go to the kids club.  The kids had a blast playing in the kids club and we enjoyed eating some of our meal in peace!  This night we celebrated both Shawn's birthday and our 10 year anniversary.

After dinner we headed up to the kids club to grab the kids before heading to bed.  The next day we were heading to Castaway Cay, which was the day I was most looking forward to!
