Both kids finished up the spring season of soccer at the beginning of the month. Em was once again on the Doodlebugs team. All of her team returned from the Fall which was nice. They played really well as a team all season and won lots of their games. Each season I enjoy watching her play even more. Next year her team will grow by a few players and they will play on bigger fields and start having a goalie. I'm already excited for next season!
We switched Evan to a different team this season, the Bulldogs. He moved up to an Under 6 team in order to play on a neighborhood team with several boys that will go to Kindergarten with him. Evan still doesn't love soccer, but I'm thankful that he at least got to make some new friends. Since he's now on a neighborhood team, I think we are going to give soccer one more go in the Fall for Evan and see how it goes.
