Riding a Bike

I'm so proud of Em!  This past weekend she finally learned to ride a bike.  This is something she has really struggled with.  She will do a back handspring with no fear, but for some reason riding a bike really scared her. Shawn took her to a bike riding class in the winter and I think it really helped.  They had us take her pedals off so she could learn to balance on the bike first.  She hasn't practiced at all since the class, but this weekend she asked if she could.  I could tell that her balance was perfect, so Shawn put her pedals back on.  It took her a little bit to work her confidence up to pedaling, but once she did, she was off!  She still needs a little practice starting off when she's on a flat surface, but I know soon she'll be a pro!  Now if we could just get Evan interested in riding a bike. . .
