Today we were back at Hollywood Studios. At the last minute, I decided to make a breakfast reservation for Hollywood and Vine. It's a character meal where you get to meet all the Disney Jr. characters. I'm really glad I did this. Evan is such a huge Disney Jr. fan, so this was right up his alley. We had an 8:15 reservation, but was able to get in closer to 8:00 instead. The park itself didn't open until 9:00. I thought the food on the buffet was delicious. It was definitely one of my favorite meals. Compared to some of the other character meals, this one had the characters spaced out quite a bit. I actually liked this. We were able to take our time eating and had still seen all the characters by the time we were done.

| No matching shirts today. I couldn't find enough I liked to make it the whole week. |
| Neither of my kids knew who Handy Manny was. They have never seen that show. |
We finished up breakfast around 8:45 and had to wait with the crowds until the park opened at 9:00, unlike at MK where we got to go get in line for rides. We had a fast pass first thing for the Toy Story Mania ride, but noticed everyone was running there and no one was going to meet Buzz and Woody. Since our fast pass window was good for an hour, we decided to meet Buzz and Woody first and then went on the ride. They were one of my favorite character meet and greets. Woody was pretty funny. We all loved this ride as well.

We headed over to the Great Movie Ride after Toy Story. I wanted to get this ride in before the line got too long since we didn't have fast passes. I really enjoyed this ride as well. It had a couple scary moments in it for the kids, but overall was fun. We walked over the watch the 3D Muppet movie afterwards. It was cute, but Evan enjoyed it the most. There was no line, so that was a plus. Finally we used our fast pass to see the Indiana Jones Stunt Show. I thought this was just ok. The kids were a little bored with this show as well.
| We ran into one of Emily's friends from school (and soccer and girl scouts). We knew they were going to be there as well, we just kept missing them at the other parks. |
| There were squirrels everywhere and would come super close to you. Evan loved following them. |
| Waiting for Indiana Jones to start. Evan cried going in saying he didn't want to see it, even though he had no idea what it was. He was ready for a nap at this point! |
By now it was lunch time and getting really hot outside. Since this was our second trip to this park, we decided to call it a day and head back to the hotel for lunch and naps and then some swimming. The kids had been dying to swim at the pool and go down the water slide, so that's what we did. And you know what, they loved it! Evan rode the water slide probably 100 times. He didn't want to leave. They also had a fun splash pad area as well.
| You can see the bottom of the waterslide on the left. They started out up top. Em said the whole slide was in the dark until the very end. I was shocked Evan rode it since he rarely wanted to go down the much smaller slide at Emler after weekly swim lessons. |
| The splash pad area. There were several smaller water slides over there as well. |
| We could see Cinderella's castle from the pool. |
We had dinner reservations that night at 1900 Park Fare at the Grand Floridian. That hotel was right next to ours, so we were able to just walk over. At this meal the kids got to meet Cinderella, Prince Charming, the stepmother and the 2 stepsisters. We had a bad table location and couldn't really see the characters until they were at our table, but other than that it was a nice dinner. Again, it was a buffet, which I'm just not a huge fan of to begin with. Both kids loved the stepmother and stepsisters the best. They were really funny and it total character. The stepsisters kept asking Evan is he was available and was a prince. When dinner was over, the MK fireworks were about to start, so instead of watching them from our hotel, we watched them from the Grand Floridian. They were the same ones we had seen the night before, but it was neat seeing them from a different angle. When they were done we walked back to our hotel and called it a night.
