We started this day at the Haunted Mansion. I was a little worried Evan might be scared of this ride, so I didn't tell him what it was until we got inside. I know, bad mom! Luckily, he loved it! From here we worked our way through Adventureland and Frontierland. Once again, the lines were longer than I was hoping and we had to make some adjustments to our plans. After waiting in a long line for the Jungle Cruise, I switched our fast pass for Pirates of the Caribbean to be later in the day, so we wouldn't miss our time slot and instead went to use our fast pass for Big Thunder Mountain. Again, I was a little nervous Evan would be scared, but I was wrong and he loved the roller coasters! This is when he saw Splash Mountain and kept asking when we could go on it. I had planned on going this day, but the line was already super long by now. So instead I grabbed a fast pass for it later in the week and we headed to the Aladdin magic carpet ride. After that ride, we split up for a bit. Emily and I headed to the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique and Shawn and Evan headed to Tom Sawyer Island.
Emily was hesitant as to whether she wanted to do the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique or not, but she was so glad she did. She opted not to wear a princess dress and instead just got her hair, nails and makeup done. She loved it! She told me afterwards, that this was one of her favorite things she did.

We met back up with the boys and had a quick lunch before using our fast pass on Peter Pan. Then since the line was short, the kids took a spin on the carousel. By now it was almost time for our fast pass for Pirates of the Caribbean so we walked back to adventureland and stopped to walk through the Swiss Family Robinson tree house on our way. We had shown the kids this movie, so they thought it was fun to see and there was no line which made it even better. After riding the Pirates of the Caribbean, we decided it was time to head back to the hotel for some naps/rest time.
Evan was really tired and fell asleep fairly quickly, but Em didn't seem to be too tired today. So her and I snuck out to go grab some ice cream at the resort. When we got off the elevator and walked out the door of our building, we saw Moana just standing there. There was one family finishing up, but no one else was around. Luckily I still had Em's autograph book in my purse, so we took advantage and Em stopped to meet her and take pictures. This was definitely a lucky break as the only other place to meet her was at Hollywood Studios and the days we were there, the line was over 45 minutes long. We just made sure not to tell Evan as he would have been super bummed to miss her.
When we finished up with Moana, we hit up the dole whip stand. Apparently these were a must try item at Disney World and the only 2 places to get them are at the Polynesian and Magic Kingdom. Em and I both enjoyed them! After ice cream, we checked out the pool and the beach area before heading back to wake up the boys.
We took the monorail back to MK and I was able to grab another fast pass on the app for It's a Small World. I remembered this ride from when I was younger, so I really wanted to take the kids on it. The rest of my family hated it. Ha. Both kids kept asking when it was going to be over. At least we didn't have to wait in line for it. :)

Once dinner was over, we only had about 10 minutes to spare before Wishes, the night time fireworks show started. I loved it. It was a very close second to Fantasmic. We left the park right after they were done. It was a pretty great day!
