October Little Things

It's been a super busy month for us!  Here's a quick look at all the little things we've been up to that haven't gotten their own blog post.

Emily had her Fun Run at school .  I went and watched her race.  She did great!

Evan got to take home the Molly math bag from school and we had fun doing all the activities in it.

 

We spent a lot of time at soccer practices and games.  There were a couple weeks that Shawn took Evan alone to his game.

Shawn took Emily's training wheels off her bike and tried to teach her to ride. It was a no go.  :(

Emily had off for Columbus Day.  Shawn took her to Top Golf along with a bunch of his family.

We got our daily photos of Evan at school.  He loves show and tell day especially.

Oh you know. . .just fertilizing the grass in his underwear and walking around the house in rainboots and his underwear.

The kids took random selfies on our phones and Shawn downloaded Snapchat for them to play with.

Emily had spirit day Fridays at school.

We watched popular science for kids. It was pretty interesting.  Ha.

We enjoyed some of the cooler, yet still too hot, weather and played outside.

Evan went on his first field trip ever.  They went to the Pumpkin Patch. He was so excited and had the best time!

Shawn's company celebrates Halloween each year and this year his group dressed up for a Prince tribute.

When we put Evan to bed each night, we leave his lamp on and he does what he calls "chores."  It's basically just plays for an hour or so until he decides to get in bed.  When I go to bed, I turn off his lamp.  I never know what I'm going to find!

We baked. . .

Yep, even at 7 this girl still loves her footie jammies.  :)

We went out to brunch with KK, Grandpa Joe, Scott and Stephanie to celebrate October birthdays.
