This past Friday Emily had a full day of fun with her Daddy. Shawn volunteered (totally on his own) to be a watch dog at her school for the day. He basically bounced around from classroom to classroom all day and helps out with whatever the teachers needed help with. Emily loved having him at school with her and I think it gave Shawn a new found appreciation for all teachers do. Ha.

After school, Emily finally got to take advantage of her birthday present from me and Shawn. She got to take a cooking class at Central Market with Shawn. It was long. . .2.5 hours, but they cooked a lot. They made hamburgers, potato wedges, milk shakes and cupcakes. Shawn said Em was the youngest kid there (they had to be between 5 and 17), but she held her own. He also said it was a lot of Daddy and daughter teams. It sounded like they both had lots of fun. I know Em loved having a fun filled day with her Daddy and hopefully she knows just how lucky she is that her Daddy loves doing stuff with her just as much.
