Last night we attended Emily's Primrose Graduation. I know many people are thinking, really, a graduation from Pre-K? Isn't that a bit much? But the thing is, Emily has attended Primrose since she was 11 weeks old. She has spent the last 5.5 years there and this school has literally become her second home. I feel like she definitely deserved to have an occasion to celebrate her time there. The whole thing is pretty bittersweet to me. To know that it's all coming to an end soon is a bit sad for me, even though I know she's moving on to even bigger and better things.
The graduation was for the 2 Pre-K classes and also the private Kindergarten class. I really didn't know what to expect, but it was so cute. They sang several songs and all the kiddos wore caps and gowns. They also had a slideshow with baby pictures of all the kids and pictures from the last year. I was really impressed with how special they made it for them.

| I love this picture. . .look at how big that smile is! |
Emily had some special visitors attend as well. . .Mimi and Papa. And a very big thanks to Papa Mike for staying back at our house to watch Evan. It was so much more enjoyable for Shawn and I to not have to worry about chasing Evan down.

Today Emily had a graduation party and then next week officially kicks off summer camp, which I know Emily is looking forward to. I'm really glad that we still have a few more months before she officially leaves Primrose and all the friends that she has made there.
