Emily's Sofia the First Birthday Party

For months Em has told me she wanted a Sofia the First birthday party.  I'm never super excited about doing character birthday parties, but she was insisting so I went with it.  After much debate, we ended up having her birthday party at ASI gymnastics.  It couldn't have gone better.  The hosts were great and kept all the kids laughing.  We invited her friends from school and soccer, her cousins and then 2 other friends.  She had a great turnout.  I think there were almost 20 kids that came!  I kept it super simple with decorations this year.  I didn't even get her a birthday outfit associated with her theme.  That's pretty unusual for me.  But you know what, she could have cared less and she had a blast.  That's all that matters to me.  :)
