Easter in Burleson

We had a busy Easter weekend!  We usually celebrate with Shawn's family on Saturday and this year was no exception.  

Saturday morning Em and I dyed some Easter eggs.  Apparently I am not a master egg dyer because they all turned out very pale.  Haha.  But Em and I had fun doing it.

It's crazy to me how much older Em looks this year compared to last year.  I couldn't help but post almost the exact same picture from last year.

After lunch we headed down to Burleson.  We weren't sure how the kids would do without their afternoon naps, but both did suprisingly well.  Evan did take a short catnap in the pack and play at KK's right before dinner though.   The kids had a blast playing outside, hunting for easter eggs, and smashing confetti eggs on everyone.  By the time we left they were both exhausted from playing so hard.

We took around 25 family pics and these next 2 were the best of the best. :(

Since we have an hour drive home from Burleson, we always give the kids baths at KK's and put their jammies on.  That way if they fall asleep on the drive home, we can just put them straight to bed.
