Conversations With Emily

On the drive home from school today, me and Em had a conversation about the baby.

Me: "Hey Em, I think I might have a baby brother in my tummy. What do you think about that?"
Em: "No, I dont't want baby brother, I want baby sister."
Me: "Well, what happens if the baby is a boy. Is that ok?"
Em: "No,I don't like boys. Collin and Ethan are bad boys." (boys in her class)
Me: "Well, if you have a brother he won't be a bad boy. He'd be a good boy."
Em:  "I can't see the moon yet it's not dark enough."  (totally trying to change the subject)
